About Akeme

Thirty years of leading operations. Now applied to your move.

I spent more than thirty years in leadership roles with the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy — running complex operations, building teams, and developing the people on them. The work rewarded preparation and punished guessing, and that has shaped how I handle a transaction.

Designations & training

Graduate, Florida Realtors® LCIW Program
Learning Center Instructor Workshop Program
SFR® (Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource®)
Trains agents to guide distressed homeowners through the technicalities of short sales and foreclosure properties.

I live in a master-planned community myself, so the things people ask me about — walkability, trails, parks, the fitness-forward pieces, how a neighborhood feels on a Saturday morning — aren't abstractions. I've made the same decisions you're weighing.

What clients tend to mention afterward is the same thing every time: they always knew what was happening next. I'm organized, I keep my word on timelines, and I stay level when a deal gets tense. That's most of the job.

Whether you're buying your first place, selling a home you've raised a family in, or moving across the state, my aim is that you feel informed and at ease from our first conversation through closing day.

A specialty built on his own service

Before the Department of Energy years and before real estate, Akeme served in the Army, and he later worked with the Department of Defense. That's why military relocation is a genuine specialty here rather than a line on a website: orders, report dates and moving on someone else's schedule are familiar ground. Sarasota was also ranked #1 in both "Best Cities After Service" and "Best Cities for Retired Veterans" in Navy Federal Credit Union's 2024 Best Cities After Service report, produced with Sperling's BestPlaces.
